- 1900 : The " Bonbons Suisses " become the " Bonbons BARNIER ".
- 1922 : First fur-lined sweet saled with wrapping produced by BARNIER.

Located in Rouen, the capital of Normandy, Barnier produces 500 tons of confectioneries, 40% of which are exported into about thirty countries.
With a turnover of 4 million €uros, the company employs 40 people for production and 30 marketing people covering the French territory.
Barnier's objectives are clearly defined :
- 4 100 000 euros of sales turnover, including 27% with export
- Annual tonnage of 560 tons
- 40 employees and a sales force of 30 canvassers
- Establish custumer loyalty through long term partnership
- To innovate towards products combining traditional manufacture and modern techniques
